TourSeat buyer guides
Best group tour booking software
We make TourSeat, so read this as a maker’s comparison, not a neutral review. It lists what each tool costs and who it suits, including when another tool is the better choice.
Key takeaways
- For a small group-tour agency that wants bookings, seats and payments in one place: TourSeat, from a free plan, if you can wait for an invitation.
- For selling tours through online travel agencies and resellers: Bókun or TrekkSoft, from $49 or €49 a month plus booking fees.
- For building itineraries for travellers: Travefy, from $39 a month billed annually.
- For larger operators with reseller networks: Tour Amigo, which does not publish prices.
What group tour booking software is
- What it is: Software that takes bookings for a tour with a fixed departure and a fixed group, and helps you manage seats, payments and the passenger list.
- What it is not: A guarantee of sales. These tools record and organise bookings; they do not bring you travellers unless they include a marketplace.
How we compared these tools
- Exact price: The lowest paid price printed on each vendor’s own pricing page, read on November 1, 2026. Prices change, so confirm before you buy.
- Fit for the job: Whether the tool is built for a group departure that an agency runs, or for selling tour and activity tickets.
- Limits of this review: We did not sign up for or test the other tools. Features below are what their public pages state. We also tried Rezdy and Checkfront, but their pricing pages would not load for us, so we left them out rather than guess.
Comparison table
| Tool | Best for | Lowest published paid price | Main limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| TourSeat | Small group-tour agencies | Free plan; Starter $19/month or $190/year | Invitation-only closed testing |
| Bókun | Tour and activity sellers using resellers | $49/month plus 1.5% on applicable bookings | Built for selling tickets, not group departures |
| Travefy | Itineraries for travel advisors | $39/month, billed annually | Page does not describe seat or payment tracking |
| TrekkSoft | Tour operators with online sales | €49/month, billed annually, plus booking fees | Per-booking fees on top |
| Tour Amigo | Larger operators and reseller networks | Not public | 12-month minimum term, quote needed |
The tools
1. TourSeat by Oyrial
- Best suited to: Small and mid-size agencies that run group tours and need bookings, bus seat plans, payments and passenger check-in for owners, office staff and tour leaders.
- Price: Free covers 1 active trip, up to 60 travellers and 1 staff account. Starter is $19 a month or $190 a year (5 active trips, 3 staff accounts). Pro is $49 a month or $490 a year (unlimited trips, 10 staff accounts). New agencies start with 14 days of Pro, and paid plans are Google Play subscriptions.
- Availability: Invitation-only. The Android app is in closed testing, and there is no confirmed public release date.
- Drawbacks: You cannot sign up today without an invitation, it is a new product, and we do not claim reseller or online-travel-agency integrations.
2. Bókun
- Best suited to: Tour and activity businesses that want to sell through resellers and online travel agencies.
- Price: Its pricing page lists a Free plan for one user, then Start at $49 a month (1.5% on applicable bookings, up to 5 users), Plus at $149 and Premium at $499. 14-day trial, no card needed.
- Drawbacks: It is built around selling tickets and distribution, so a fixed group departure with seat plans is not its focus. Its page shows Plus at 1.25% in one place and 1% in another, so confirm the fee.
3. Travefy
- Best suited to: Travel agent teams that plan and share itineraries with travellers.
- Price: Core is $39 a month billed annually and Premium is $59 a month billed annually. Extra seats are $20 (Core) or $39 (Premium) a month. Agency pricing is not public. 10-day trial.
- Drawbacks: Its pricing page does not describe seat plans or payment tracking for a group departure. Monthly billing prices are not listed.
4. TrekkSoft
- Best suited to: Tour operators that sell online and through agents or resellers.
- Price: Starter is €49 a month billed annually, Accelerate €149 and Ultimate €249. Starter adds 3% on online direct bookings and €1.50 per offline booking, and allows 50 activity listings.
- Drawbacks: Fees per booking add up as you grow. Its pricing page shows Enterprise at two different prices.
5. Tour Amigo
- Best suited to: Larger operators and groups that work with a network of travel agents.
- Price: Not public. Its page describes usage-based, fixed and tailored models with a 12-month minimum term. Rates need a call with the vendor.
- Drawbacks: You cannot see the price before talking to the vendor, and the term is long for a small agency.
Which tool fits your kind of agency
- One bus, fixed departures: You need a seat plan, payments per traveller and a live passenger list. Check that the tool has these before you pay.
- Selling through marketplaces: You need distribution more than seat control. Look at Bókun or TrekkSoft.
- Planning itineraries: The booking record is secondary. Travefy is built around the itinerary.
